Dr. Anderson was born and raised in the Chicago area and grew up in Michigan. With both of his parents and older sister being dentists, dentistry has always been a significant part of his life. This familial exposure to the profession sparked his interest in the field from an early age.


He pursued his undergraduate education at the University of Michigan, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomolecular Science. During his time there, he also played Division 1 Varsity soccer, showcasing his talent and dedication in both academics and sports. Following in the footsteps of his family, Dr. Anderson enrolled in the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He graduated at the top of his class, reflecting his exceptional academic achievements.

To further enhance his skills and knowledge, Dr. Anderson completed a residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey. In his final year of residency, he served as Chief Resident, indicating his leadership abilities and expertise in the field. Throughout his training, Dr. Anderson gained extensive experience in various areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including complex facial trauma, orthognathic (jaw corrective) surgery, Head and Neck cancer, benign pathology, nerve repair, facial reconstruction, TMJ surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, Botox and fillers, outpatient sedation, removal of wisdom teeth, complex bone grafting, and placement of dental implants.

Dr. Anderson developed a particular interest in full-arch reconstruction with implants, such as zygomatic and pterygoid implants, as well as teeth-in-a-day procedures like All-on-4. He also utilizes virtual surgical planning, employing custom guides and plates to correct jaw deformities, address facial trauma, and assist in precise implant placement. By staying updated on the latest technologies, trends, and surgical techniques through various courses, he ensures that he provides optimal care to his patients.


Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Anderson enjoys traveling the world, playing soccer, rock climbing, going to the beach, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He values a well-rounded lifestyle and finds joy in pursuing diverse interests.


Dr. Anderson is certified in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support). He is an active member of professional organizations such as the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ACOMS), New Jersey Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (NJSOMS), American Dental Association (ADA), and New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA). These affiliations demonstrate his commitment to staying connected with his colleagues and staying abreast of advancements in the field.
