Meet Daniel Krost, DMD
Dr. Daniel Krost is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon specializing in dental implants, bone grafting, wisdom tooth removal, oral pathology, and comprehensive oral surgical care.
As a third-generation oral surgeon, Dr. Krost combines a deep family tradition in oral and maxillofacial surgery with advanced training and a modern approach to patient care. He is passionate about helping patients restore function, comfort, and confidence through thoughtful surgical treatment, whether replacing a single missing tooth with a dental implant, managing a complex oral condition, or performing routine dentoalveolar surgery.
Known for his approachable manner and attention to detail, Dr. Krost believes exceptional patient care begins with listening. He takes the time to educate patients, explain treatment options clearly, and develop individualized treatment plans focused on long-term success. His goal is to ensure every patient feels informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their surgical experience.
Education & Training
A New Jersey native, Dr. Krost graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine before completing his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. His training included extensive experience in dental implant surgery, bone grafting, anesthesia, facial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, oral pathology, and the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Today, Dr. Krost enjoys practicing the broad range of procedures that define the specialty. He has a particular interest in dental implant rehabilitation and helping patients restore both function and quality of life through comprehensive surgical care. He remains actively engaged in continuing education and advancements in digital treatment planning, implant surgery, and evidence-based patient care.

Dr. Krost is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and maintains active hospital privileges. He is committed to providing high-quality surgical care while building lasting relationships with patients and referring providers throughout the community.
Beyond the Office
Outside of surgery, Dr. Krost has a lifelong passion for photography and visual arts. Prior to dental school, he attended the International Center of Photography in New York City. He enjoys travel, lounging on the beach, attending Broadway shows, and spending time with his partner, Maikol, and their dog, Asher.
