Precise, thoughtful, and deeply committed to his patients, he brings a level of care to every visit that reflects both his extensive training and his belief that people deserve to feel heard and understood before any treatment options are explored.

Education and Training

Dr. Daniel Krost completed his undergraduate education at New York University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Communications. Following graduation, he pursued a year-long fine art photography program at the International Center of Photography, where he focused on portraiture — an experience that helped shape his appreciation for precision, aesthetics, and patient-centered care.

He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, graduating magna cum laude and at the top of his class. He then completed a non-categorical internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, followed by a comprehensive four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The Ohio State University.

His surgical training encompassed the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with a strong emphasis on dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, corrective jaw surgery, management of facial trauma, and the treatment of benign cysts and tumors of the jaws. Dr. Krost also received extensive training in the delivery of safe, office-based general anesthesia. During his final year of residency, he served as Chief Resident of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Anesthesiology.
